Klaus is an executive advisor and was a serial CIO. He is a well-known executive in the global tech community working with blue chip companies.
After 12 years at Daimler he left the company as Director of HR-Systems in the ITM organization, followed by 3 years CIO & VP at SiemensVDO, 8 years CIO & VP at Audi, 2 ½ years Organizational Strategy & SVP BMW Group and 6 years CIO & SVP at BMW Group.
This results in 30 years extensive know-how in automotive OEM, supplier industry in all areas and financial industry.
His focus of expertise covers a wide range of setting up strategies, business models, tech- and IT future programs, digitalization, transformation and culture. He was awarded several times: CIO of the Year 2006, CIO of the Decade (2001-2011), IT Hall of Fame Germany 2011, CIO of the Year 2018 (Innovation Award), CIO of the Decade (2010-2020).
